Description
Toastmaster Electric Bain Marie, E-DT-165 also known as a water bath or double boiler, is a kitchen equipment used for gently heating or maintaining the temperature of liquids or foods, particularly those that are sensitive to direct heat. It consists of two parts: a container filled with hot water and another container (usually smaller) placed inside it, where the food or liquid to be heated is placed.
When using a Toastmaster Bain-Marie, the food does not come in contact with the heat source but is kept warm as the water temperature is maintained upto 100°C by the heating element underneath the container.
